We shall show them Our Signs in the universe & in their own selves until it becomes manifest to them that this is the truth. [Fussilat: 53]

Research is an important element to analyze and understand the true needs of a family structure and a community. Unfortunately, the Muslim community struggles to maintain relevant data that provides community leaders and scholars the information needed to accurately plan and address the problems of our community. As a result, we have seen an increase in the Muslim divorce rate, usage of substance abuse, broken families, unresolved conflicts and other elements that are challenging the Divine institution of marriage and family.

In order to address this gap, Rahma Institute is leading an effort to collect data to provide scholarly research. This endeavor began at the Reviving the Islamic Spirit (RIS) Conference in 2011 by surveying our youth and families. Rahma Institute hopes to provide journal entries, white papers, and other research to spread awareness and the true needs of Muslim families InshaAllah.
